Clients are asked to remain in this area until such time as they can be seen by the professional. They can wait as long as an hour or as little as five minutes. If you are in one of these professions you will almost certainly have asked a client to use this facility.

If, in your particular business you frequently find you have to keep clients waiting, you have probably thought a great deal about how best to keep them occupied while they wait. After all, if they become bored, once you are able to see them they are likely to be irritated or stressed by the wait. This may your ability to serve them less effective.

Some waiting room have televisions turned to a news chanel to liven up a boring waiting room, however, this can be invasive to those who prefer silence. Some waiting rooms have toys for the children, but what about the adults?

A magazine subscription is an ideal compliment to your waiting room. Giving your client something to read will make their experience more enjoyable and occupy their time. Don't forget to recycle the magazines when they are finished with.
